Bioregulator

Last updated

A very short peptide proposed to influence gene expression in a specific tissue. The Khavinson “bioregulator” peptides come from largely non-Western research with limited replication.

The main thing to weigh with bioregulators is the evidence base: the claims trace largely to a single research lineage with limited independent replication outside its origin. They are typically very short chains, sometimes only two to four amino acids, which is unusual compared with the longer peptides in most protocols. Readers should treat proposed tissue-specific effects as preliminary rather than established.
