Ghrelin

The “hunger hormone,” which also stimulates growth-hormone release. GHRPs and secretagogues like Ipamorelin act on the ghrelin (GHS) receptor.
Because ghrelin rises when the stomach is empty, secretagogues acting on its receptor are often discussed as being taken in a fasted state, away from meals. This is a timing consideration rather than a reconstitution one: the concentration in the vial and the units drawn stay the same regardless of when the injection is given, but the surrounding food and sleep context is why protocols specify particular windows.
