IGF-1

Insulin-like growth factor 1, a hormone downstream of growth hormone that mediates many of its growth effects. Analogs like IGF-1 LR3 are studied in a muscle-growth context.

IGF-1 sits downstream of growth hormone, which is why it is sometimes discussed separately from the GHRH and GHRP peptides that act higher up the chain. Analogs such as IGF-1 LR3 are typically dosed in micrograms, so as with other low-dose compounds the reconstitution ratio is chosen to place a workable number of units on the syringe for each measured dose.
