HPLC purity
Last updated
A peptide’s percentage purity measured by high-performance liquid chromatography — the most-cited purity figure on a COA. A higher value (e.g. >98%) indicates fewer impurities.
HPLC purity describes what fraction of the material is the intended peptide versus related impurities, but it does not confirm the molecule's identity on its own, which is why a mass-spectrometry result usually sits beside it on a COA. A high percentage also says nothing about the exact peptide mass per vial, so it should not be mistaken for a dosing figure.
