GIP

Glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide, a gut hormone involved in insulin release. Dual agonists like tirzepatide act on both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors.

GIP rarely appears alone in this context and is more often encountered as one half of a dual agonist, where a single molecule engages both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. From a dosing standpoint that still means one vial and one concentration, since the two receptor actions come from the same peptide rather than from separately measured components.
