Intramuscular (IM)

An injection into muscle tissue, deeper than subcutaneous. Less common for research peptides, which are typically subcutaneous.

Intramuscular injections reach deeper tissue than subcutaneous ones and generally use a longer needle, but the route does not alter the reconstitution math itself. The same vial concentration and the same number of units apply whether a dose is placed into muscle or under the skin; the choice of route is about absorption and comfort, not about how the dose is calculated.
